Sunny Day Real Estate are continuing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark debut album, Diary, with a vinyl reissue.
Slated to ship on April 26th, the 2xLP will be pressed on a new pearlescent vinyl limited to 1,500 copies. The remastered and expanded edition contains all 11 songs from the original version of Diary, along with two bonus tracks — “8” and “9” — and newly written liner notes. Pre-orders are ongoing.
Besides the Diary reissue, SDRE have mapped out a 30th anniversary tour kicking off later this month. It includes stops in Austin, Washington, DC, New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and you can get your tickets here.

Sunny Day Real Estate have also laid down a live, track-by-track re-recording of Diary dropping on May 3rd, which features “Novum Vetus,” their first new single in 10 years. Pre-orders for that are also ongoing.
