Inspired by their recent Alive at the Catacombs concert film, Queens of the Stone Age have announced “The Catacombs Tour,” a special run of North American tour dates taking place this fall.

On the 11-day theater tour, QOTSA will present will present all-new arrangements crafted specifically for the occasion, “inspired in large part by the band members’ collective experience during the creation” of Alive at the Catacombs, and “enhanced by assembled ensembles.” The itinerary takes place throughout October and November and includes dates in Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, and New Orleans. UK and European tour dates will be announced shortly. Per a press release, “Appropriate dress is encouraged — you’ll want to look as good as the music is going to sound on this very special evening at the theater.”
An artist pre-sale begins on Tuesday, June 24th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code ALIVE25) via Ticketmaster, followed by a Live Nation ticket pre-sale on Wednesday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. local time(use code TREBLE) via Ticketmaster. A public is set for Friday, June 27th at 10:00 a.m. local time.
