Lil Silva and Sampha Share Video for New Song “Backwards”: Watch

Lil Silva has shared a new song in collaboration with Sampha. It’s called “Backwards.” Listen to it below. Both artists shared a statement about the song:

“Backwards” is the feeling of alienation and constantly venting in a matrix you find yourself inside, whatever that may be.… Restricted and feeling guilty to move forward, constantly going backwards mentally.… I guess the song is about being in a never ending cycle and the heaviness that can bring on you.… It’s a metaphor for that.

The “Backwards” announcement notes to “stay tuned for more from Lil Silva coming soon.” Sampha’s last album, Process, came out five years ago. In 2020, he collaborated with Actress on “Walking Flames.”
