My idea of heaven is enjoying a strong cup of coffee while I work on my laptop or lose myself in a book. One day I decided to not only discover the best coffee in Daytona Beach, Florida, but also to draft a guide of the best establishments in the beachside town that offer quality coffee, food, exceptional service, and a charming atmosphere.

1. Sweet Marlays’ Coffee

(Best Cafe in Daytona Beach Overall)

Hands down, one of the best breakfast coffee shops in Daytona Beach is Sweet Marlays’ Coffee. This quintessential cafe reminds me of something you’d experience in the 1950s. It’s bursting with sunshine and ambiance.

I’m a sucker for coconut so I like to order the Almond N’joy Latte which is made of Ghiradelli chocolate, coconut, and a touch of almond – YUM. They have a glass case loaded with delectable treats, desserts, and breakfast pastries. I like to grab a piping hot cup of coffee and head to one of the many small tables or chairs to work.

As well as a gorgeous interior, there are outside/streetside tables where you can rest with your four-legged friend while watching the local happenings.
