Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has revealed a first look at Pluribus, his upcoming Apple TV+ series starring Better Call Saul’s Rhea Seehorn. The sci-fi drama premieres on November 7th.
Watch the newly unveiled, 30-second teaser below, which features a woman dressed in pink scrubs who licks donuts before putting them back in a box labeled, “Help yourself.”
Not much is known about the show, but Seehorn’s character, Carol, is described as “the most miserable person on Earth,” who “must save the world from happiness.”
The series cast will also feature Karolina Wydra and Carlos-Manuel Vesga, with guest stars Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte.
One of our most anticipated TV shows of 2025, Pluribus takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico — much like Gilligan’s previous two series. The lead role was also written with Seehorn in mind, as she confirmed to Consequence in 2022: “I did not collaborate on it at all, but [Gilligan] came to me and said that he wrote something for me, which made me cry.”
Pluribus will premiere with two episodes, followed by a weekly drop through December 26th. It has already been renewed for Season 2.
