
A man has been arrested for stealing flowers left at a Birmingham memorial honoring the late Ozzy Osbourne.
According to BBC, West Midlands Police arrested Parviz Jafari, 45, on August 2nd and charged him with theft after being alerted that the flowers were taken from the Broad Street memorial. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 3rd.
Thousands of notes, memorabilia, and flowers were left at Osbourne’s memorial following his passing from a heart attack in late July. The notes and memorabilia are set to be preserved and cataloged, while the flowers were to be mulched and scattered by his grave at his Buckinghamshire estate.

The public outpouring accompanied a funeral procession through the streets of Birmingham on July 30th, after which Osbourne was laid to rest during a private service at his mansion the following day.
Osbourne passed away on July 22nd at 76 years old, just weeks after playing his final show as both a solo artist and with Black Sabbath at the epic “Back to the Beginning” concert.
