The long-awaited first trailer for the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic, Deliver Me from Nowhere, has arrived. The film, which stars The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, delves into the making of the Nebraska album in 1982.

Written and directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart), the movie is based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 biography, Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.

Much like Timothée Chalamet’s process for the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, Jeremy Allen White did his own singing for Deliver Me from Nowhere. While speaking to Variety last year, White explained that he was “gonna try [my] best” when asked about providing vocals for the movie.

While preparing for the film, White also revealed that he’d been in contact with Springsteen via text, adding that the classic rock icon texts “like a boss,” obviously.

“It’s crazy, overwhelming,” the actor told ET last month about making the movie. “It was incredible. He was there very often. I spent as much time with him as I could, and he was really generous with his time, and I got to ask him a lot. I’m done singing. I sang everything. Everything’s in the movie, it’s done. No more prep, no more vocal lessons, I did it… I feel really good about the songs. I’m excited for people to hear it. I feel good about that.”

Deliver Me from Nowhere, which is coming from 20th Century Studios, is set to hit theaters on October 24th, 2025. In addition to White, the movie stars Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau, plus Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Marc Maron, Gabby Hoffman, Stephen Graham, and Johnny Cannizzaro.

Meanwhile, the real-life Bruce Springsteen is currently touring Europe on his “Land of Hope and Dreams Tour,” where he routinely gives Donald Trump the middle finger. He’s also set to release Tracks II: The Lost Albums (pre-order here), which collects seven previously unreleased albums by the Boss, with 82 songs in total recorded from 1983 and 2018.
