GWAR have announced that they will stream their recent concert at the underground venue known as The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee. The show, which took place on June 21st and will be available to stream as “Live From the Hellmouth” via Veeps on August 22nd, was part of the band’s ongoing 40th anniversary celebration.
The Caverns is a unique subterranean venue that holds roughly 1,200 concertgoers. According to a press release, “The show captures GWAR in their natural element: underground, unhinged, and completely unfiltered. Expect blood, bile, body parts, and the kind of glorious depravity that’s made GWAR the most disgusting — and beloved — shock rock band on Earth.”
Per Setlist.fm, GWAR played a 14-song set at The Caverns, beginning with “Fuck this Place” and ending with “Sick of You.” The stream, which is available for $14.99, comes ahead of GWAR’s fall North American tour with Helmet, The Dwarves, and Blood Vulture.
