The formula is supposed to deliver “high color, glazed shine, and balmy nourishing care up to 8 hours.” It has a smooth, balmy consistency that glided on comfortably, melted a bit but didn’t totally soften to the point where it made it really difficult to apply or keep fairly even.
For as glossy and emollient as the finish was, most shades went on evenly and didn’t settle too noticeably into lip lines. They delivered semi-opaque to opaque coverage that lasted for four hours before fading away noticeably (but evenly). The hydrating effect lasted longer, and these did feel moisturizing while worn and for a little after.
They had a sweet, fruity scent but no discernible taste.
