To their amazement, they ran across an endless number of articles explaining how to get rich quickly by selling sunglasses. If you run across such articles, take them with a grain of salt.
We have been in the wholesale sunglasses business for a long time and have learned a thing or two, including the fact that almost all get-rich-quick schemes don’t work. They are either scams or clickbait, so be careful about following their advice. If you want to succeed in selling men’s, women’s, and children’s sunglasses at retail, look for articles that stick to the tried-and-true principles of hard work, successful marketing, etc.
Putting in the Time
It is fair to say that sunglasses are a product that sell themselves. But guess what? You aren’t the only retail fish in the ocean. You are competing with other retailers for a core set of customers. That means you need to put in the time to find them, figure out what they want, and reach them with the message that convinces them to buy from you.
We need to do the very same thing at the wholesale level. We aren’t the only company that sells wholesale sunglasses at discount prices. Retailers have all sorts of options for buying sunglasses in bulk. So we must put in the time and effort to make sure we are taking care of our customers better than anyone else would.

There is no special secret to succeeding in business. History is rife with successful entrepreneurs who have made tons of money. Just learn what they did and do it. You don’t need to pay someone else to reveal some secret, hidden knowledge that no one else knows about. Anyone claiming to possess such knowledge is just looking to separate you from your hard-earned money.
Also, stay away from schemes that suggest you can earn tens of thousands of dollars per week within just a few short weeks of being in business. It could happen, but it is not the norm. It takes time and patience to build up a successful retail venture.
You Can Make Money
We certainly don’t want to dissuade you from getting into the retail sunglasses business. There is money to be made. Just go into it with realistic expectations. Do not approach it with a ‘get rich quick‘ mentality or you might be sorely disappointed.
