Mexican corridos-tumbados singer Natanael Cano lashed out at his DJ during a headlining set at Baja Beach Fest in Baja California, Mexico, early Monday morning. Video of the onstage meltdown shows Cano physically attacking the DJ, grabbing his laptop, and smashing it on stage.
A “source close to Cano” told Rolling Stone that that the DJ had made “numerous mistakes” throughout the set. “[Cano] was vocalizing the issues before it drove him to escalate the situation,” the source explained to Rolling Stone. “He hit a breaking point.”
