Andy Byron — who was caught on a kiss cam canoodling with a coworker who is not his wife during a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, MA, earlier this week — has resigned from his position as CEO of Astronomer, the company announced Saturday.
“As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,” the company said in a statement. “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.”
During a kiss cam segment at Coldplay’s concert, Byron was seen embracing a woman identified by multiple media outlets as the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot. Upon realizing they were on camera, Byron quickly ducked out of view while Cabot covered her face and turned away.

“Oh, look at these two,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said upon spotting the pair. “All right, come on, you’re OK! Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Video of the moment quickly went viral on social media, with the original TikTok racking up over 100 million views. It has also inspired numerous parodies — most notably, the Philadelphia Phillies spoofed the pair during Friday night’s game.
