Acer is expanding its line of creator-targeted ConceptD computers to now include desktop PCs, monitors, and more standard laptop designs. The ConceptD line first started a year ago with the unique ConceptD 9, which had a large easel design and powerful components repurposed from Acer’s gaming laptops. The company followed that up with the slightly smaller but similar-looking ConceptD 7 Ezel earlier this year.

Now, Acer is adding the ConceptD 3 and ConceptD 3 Ezel laptops to the range. Both are available in 14- or 15.6-inch size options, have 10th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 H-series processors, and options for Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, 1650Ti, or Quadro T1000 graphics cards. Both versions also include full-size SD card readers and Thunderbolt 3 ports, which are two important features for photographers or video editors working with cameras or fast external storage devices.

The ConceptD 3 is a traditional clamshell laptop, while the ConceptD 3 Ezel has the convertible hinge design that debuted on the ConceptD 9 last year. Acer says this design allows you to orient the laptop in six different modes depending on what you’re doing on it, such as drawing, typing, or sharing your screen with others. This convertible design does make the Ezel model noticeably heavier and thicker than its standard counterpart, but even the 15.6-inch version is still under five pounds. The ConceptD 3 Ezel will start at $1,499.99 when it arrives in August; the ConceptD 3 will be $999.99 to start in October.

In addition to the new laptops, Acer is announcing the ConceptD 100, a compact desktop PC with a 9th Gen Core i5 processor (no 10th Gen chips here), up to 32GB of RAM, and either an Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 or Quadro P620 graphics card. It has front-access ports for USB and a full-size SD card reader, and Acer says the cooling design allows it to stay under 40 decibels of noise, so it can sit on a desk without disturbing you. Acer says the ConceptD 100 will be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in June with a starting price of 799€. There are no apparent plans for a US launch.

Alongside the new PC, the ConceptD CP3, CP5, and CM3 bring Acer’s design-forward aesthetic to monitors. All three models are Pantone validated for color accuracy and appear to be 27-inch size. The CP5 is a 1440p model with HDR 600 support, 99 percent AdobeRGB coverage, and the ability to be overclocked to 170Hz refresh for smoother visuals. The CP3 steps up to a 4K resolution but is limited to HDR 400 and 165Hz. The CM3 is also a 4K model with 60Hz refresh rate. All three models will be available starting in August with prices starting at $619.99.
