Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens dead at 99

John Paul Stevens served as a Supreme Court justice for more than 34 years. He was considered a conservative when appointed by President Gerald Ford in 1975, but by the time he retired he had become the leader of the court’s liberal wing.
