NBC News investigation looks at allegations of abuse at residential facility for at-risk kids

Some former residents of Clarinda Academy, a facility in southwest Iowa, claimed they suffered physical and sexual abuse. Sequel Youth and Family Services, which operates the facility, say they are prohibited by law from discussing individual cases but called the accusations “baseless and unverified.”
