Denver teachers strike after failing to reach a deal on pay

Thousands of teachers are picketing in Denver, Colorado, after failing to reach a deal over pay structure including salaries and bonuses. “Nobody else in Colorado has this kind of pay structure,” said Rob Gould, the lead negotiator for Denver Classroom Teachers Association. Gould added that they are looking for a more “reliable pay structure that is similar to the other districts.” NBC News’ Morgan Chesky reports.
